Can I bridge my router?

It is possible to use your own cable router in conjunction with our fibre service - if required, please open a support case asking for your router to be configured in 'bridge mode'.

Please be aware that routers which are configured for "Bridge Mode" will only be supported for the u-mee equipment. Anything beyond the u-mee router will be unsupported and customers will have to seek external help as this is beyond the service that we are providing.

Our support team will provide the required PPPoE login information and convert your router to 'bridge mode' permanently i.e. this setting shall remain in the event that we update your router or send a new configuration. You can then connect your own third-party router to port GE1 of your u-mee fibre router using an ethernet cable - ports GE2, GE3 and GE4 will now be available for u-mee TV service only.
