How do I view or change my router's settings?

You can log into and manage your u-mee router by following these simple steps:

1. Open an Internet browser such as Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Safari or Firefox.
2. In the address bar type in 192.168.1.1 and press enter.
3. The router login page will open, prompting you to enter the following credentials:

Username: user
Password: umeecpe

Your default settings have been designed to suit most common scenarios - making changes you do not fully understand can have unexpected consequences so we recommend these are only undertaken by users with relevant networking experience. Some of the settings which can be changed by you include Wi-Fi SSID (network name), key (password).

Please note that any changes you make may be lost whenever we update your router centrally i.e. whenever our server sends your router a new configuration - this can occur at any time and without prior notice. If you require permanent changes to your router's settings, please open a support case
