If your u-mee TV set-top-box displays an image but there appears to be no audio, you should first check that both ends of the HDMI cable are securely connected to the TV and TV box.
You can also try connecting the HDMI cable to another HDMI port on the TV to see if the sound returns.
If you've connected your set-top-box to a separate audio-only device (home theatre system/soundbar) using an S/PDIF or HDMI out cable for digital audio, you will need to ensure that your settings are compatible (consult the manufacturer's instructions for connected equipment).
Your u-mee TV set-top-box supports stereo and Dolby Digital surround sound channels. To ensure you are using the right type please check the below steps:
- Go to the 'settings' menu and select 'edit'.
- Scroll down to 'audio' and select the appropriate audio format for your television e.g. if this is not compatible with Dolby Digital sound, simply select 'stereo'.
If you continue to have sound issues, please submit a ticket.
